resolvedI'm pretty sure I've done something to my theme - and I can't fix it.
When you go to my blog www.purenaturaldiva.com - the 4 columns have been removed - so it's only showing in one.
I deactivated all my plug ins and that didn't help.
I'm way out of my element here, I know how to use my computer... it took me days just to get my blog off wordpress and on to an independent host.
Somehow I managed to successfully customize my header image - which likely made me braver than I should have been. I did this by renaming the original head.gif - keeping it in case I screwed up - so I could retreat if necessary.
I think I was trying to remove the little "welcome" message - it doesn't show up well on the header. I used the same theory as above... rename what I though might be the correct file - so I could revert - which I ended up having to do.
I've tried to reload the original theme - but the file won't upload to my host.
So now I have a header and one long skinny column.
I would be grateful for assistance in getting back to 4 columns.
I'd be delighted if I could learn how to either eliminate the "welcome" message or change it's font so it can be read.
Thank you so much for having a support page.
If you check your site through the validator Markup Validation Service, then you'll see that more than two necessary divs are not closed, first at line 179.
Suggest that you upload the home php template and overwrite the older template, to resolve the errors, as there is more missing.
OK - I tried to overwrite the home php with no change. I emptied my cache to be sure. It didn't seem to make a difference.
I looked at the link to the Validation Site - line 179... Do I need to something with this or was the home php meant to solve that. I definitely didn't know what I was looking at : )
I just deleted the entire theme.
Downloaded it again and reloaded it....
Still a long single column.
Where did you download it?
What browser?
Which WP version?
Which host?
Downloaded it to the file manager on my host - wp contents - themes
Safari
WP Version 2.7.1
Hostmonster
Download Nature from here and upload it again.
Just tested the theme and all is working normally at my testsite.
Tried that - still the same problem.
I'm wondering if something happened in WP - I know I was looking at
Appearance - in the - Editor section.
It all looked like code so I didn't touch anything, maybe something happened without me knowing it.
